A Profession as a Top Producer

Before establishing PNWA, Greenberg worked as an Executive Director at the international investment bank and financial services firm Morgan Stanley. He spent 24 years at Morgan Stanley and was recognized as one of the firm's top financial advisors. Greenberg was a member of the firm's exclusive "Chairman's Club," which acknowledges top-producing brokers. He was likewise listed among the top two percent of Morgan Stanley's brokers in terms of income earned.

Greenberg began his investment management career in 1992 with Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant for approximately 18 months.

Industry Appreciation and Achievements

Forbes called him one of Oregon's top wealth managers in 2018. He was also named to Barron's annual "Top Advisor Rankings" for four years in a row, placing second among all financial advisors in 2012. Greenberg was named one of Oregon's two best financial advisors by the Financial Times in 2013.

Doug graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He also attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.

The Wharton School awarded Greenberg the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) title. He also holds FINRA Series 63, Oregon Life Insurance State License, and Oregon Variable Annuity Insurance State License, among other licenses and certifications.

Philanthropy

Greenberg gives back to the community through volunteer work and philanthropic endeavors, such as serving on the advisory board of the ALS Association, Oregon and SW Washington Chapter, and as a mentor for St. Mary's Home for Boys, which provides residential treatment and services to at-risk boys aged 10 to 17.

Hobbies and interests

Greenberg lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon, about 10 miles south of Portland. He spends his free time with his two grown-up sons, with whom he frequently attends live sporting events. He enjoys various outdoor sports, such as hiking, sailing, skiing, and scuba diving. He and his sons enjoy touring the world together and have had the opportunity to participate in incredible adventures, such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in 2019. The Greenberg brothers are followers of the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer and professional basketball.

Greenberg also enjoys skiing in the Cascade Mountains and boating on the various lakes and rivers of the Pacific Northwest.
